Memory Walk for Alzheimer’s Society

John Gunn from our warehouse team recently asked a couple of colleagues if they would sponsor him on a memory walk to help raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society to fight the causes of dementia. From this grew a small but willing team of 11 who planned to walk 5km around Hanley Park on Sunday 9th September.

John and his team of 10, arrived bright and early on a cool, but luckily dry morning to join over 2000 other walkers, including Stoke City and England legendary goalkeeper Gordan Banks, for their walk around the park.

So far, the team have raised over £700, this fantastic contribution goes towards an overall total for the Stoke Memory Walk which currently stands at £39,226.
