What's Hot... The Big Jubilee Lunch

To celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, there have been events and initiatives taking place throughout the year, culminating in a special extended June bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th, providing an extra opportunity for communities and people to come together to celebrate this historic 70-year milestone.

One of the key initiatives for the bank holiday weekend is The Big Jubilee Lunch, bringing the Jubilee celebrations into the heart of every community by inviting people to share friendship, food and fun with their neighbours. Whether it’s inviting a neighbour around for a cuppa or planning a street party, picnic or garden barbeque. Over 1400 people have registered to host Big Jubilee Lunches so far, with events being planned across the length and breadth of the country.
