Free From Buying Guide

No longer just for those with a particular medical or nutritional need, the free-from market has undergone somewhat of a revolution in recent years, with the latest statistics from Kantar* confirming that 65% of British households bought free-from foods in the last year.

This boom in sales has been driven to a large extent, by new ‘lifestyle’ consumers entering the market, attracted by the health halo associated with free-from products. Increased product innovation, quality and availability has also prompted more regular sales from existing free-from consumers.

So, developing your free-from range is guaranteed to drive sales, but with so much variety out there, it can be difficult to know what areas to focus on and which products to stock.
